The fine, festive lens of Danish Siddqui

Here we take a look at some of the aesthetic photos captured by late photojournalist Danish Siddiqui during Indian festivities.

Late photojournalist Danish Siddiqui was widely known for his hard-hitting photographs. Be it festivals, protests, riots or warfare, his ground zero photos always made headlines globally. One of the finest photographers from India, he was known worldwide for capturing striking visuals or in his words,

Apart from the coveted Pulitzer, Danish’s work has fetched him several accolades internationally. Here we take a look at some of the aesthetic photos captured by him during Indian festivals. Danish was killed in clashes in Afghanistan when we was embedded with the Afghan army.
