Indian economy continues to be resilient despite unsettling global environment: RBI Governor

Amid the global economic crisis and despite the unsettling global environment, the Indian economy continues to be resilient, said RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on September 30.

"The world has witnessed 2 major shocks the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine-Russia conflict which has produced a profound impact on the global economy. All segments of the financial market including equity bonds, and the currency market are in turmoil across the globe. The Global economy is in the eye of a new storm. Despite this unsettling global environment Indian economy continues to be resilient," Das noted
