The Congress is projected to win a maximum of 11 seats and a minimum of three seats. The JD(S) will win one to three seats. Karnataka has 28 parliamentary seats.</p>.<p>However, the suspense continues over the result of Mandya parliamentary seat, where Independent candidate Sumalatha is locked in a tight contest against alliance candidate Nikhil, son of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
