Budget Session in Parliament to conclude on February 12

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will speak in the House tomorrow

The first leg of the Budget Session in the Parliament will conclude on Friday, Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu said.

There will be no sitting on Saturday and the Parliament will adjourn till March 8. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be speaking in the House tomorrow.

Initially, the House was to adjourn on February 15 but it was advanced to February 13.

The second leg of the Budget Session is to start on March 8 and end on April 8.

Rajya Sabha has already passed two Bills after clearing the Motion of Thanks to the President's Address. However, Lok Sabha was lagging in business as the Opposition had disrupted the House for four days demanding a separate discussion on farmers issue.
