Coronavirus News Highlights: Himachal Pradesh extends Covid-19 restrictions till June 7

India reported over 1.86 lakh new cases in 24 hours, the lowest in 44 days, and the positivity rate remained under 10 per cent for the fourth consecutive day. The Central government has said that India is witnessing a downswing in Covid-19 cases, as several states enforce and extend restrictions to stem the spread of the deadly disease which has taken more than 3.15 lakh lives so far.
