Heavy police force deployed in Nalanda following communal clashes during Ram Navami

Heavy Police force has been deployed in Nalanda after the communal clashes during the Ram Navami procession which led to the suspension of the internet and the administration imposing curfew in the area.

Ashok Mishra, SP, Nalanda said, “The situation is under control now. One has died in the accident, 77 people have been arrested. Action will be taken against the culprits. We are on constant patrol. A company of 3 paramilitaries has been deployed. We try to maintain peace. The police rescued the people on time. We are constantly appealing to people to maintain peace.”
