<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that India will open a consulate in Brisbane to fulfill the long-pending demand by the diaspora.</p>.<p>Modi made the announcement while addressing a packed stadium at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena.
