Ghazala Wahab, who worked under Akbar in <em>The Asian Age</em>, published a write-up on <em>The Wire</em> explaining there were witnesses for her harrowing experience.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">Akbar's statement is "full of tired clichés which M J Akbar offered as his defence, there is only one sentence of profound truth – “Lies do not have legs, but they do contain poison”. Indeed, lies do not have legs, which is why they cannot go far," wrote Ghazala.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">"Either he is lying, or age has caught up with him.
