<p>The BBMP is preparing to hold a massive door-to-door survey of all city households to find out more about residents’ health regardless of Covid.</p>.<p>The civic authority has formed 108 teams of doctors, paramedics and field workers to conduct the survey over the next few weeks, Revenue Minister R Ashoka said.</p>.<p>Ashoka held a meeting with BBMP officials amidst rising daily Covid cases and major outbreaks in neighbouring states.</p>.<p>The minister directed officials to check the extent of the infection’s spread and maintain a ready database of citizens’ health. The data will be updated on the server at the BBMP’s Covid Control War Room.”</p>.<p>Regardless of a Covid infection in the family, all health parameters of citizens will be recorded, which will be of major use in the coming days, the minister added.</p>.<p>Ashoka pointed out that Bommanahalli, Yelahanka and Mahadevapura zones contain the highest concentration of Covid cases within the BBMP limits.</p>.<p>“When a patient tests positive, our doctors or medical team will visit the family within six hours and give them a medical kit, besides recording their health parameters,” he said.</p>.<p>The medical kits will contain the names of two doctors who can be contacted at any time in case there are adverse reactions to the prescribed medicines, he said.</p>
