<p>An armed man barged into a house and attacked a woman when she resisted his robbery attempt at Munenakolalu in Marathahalli on Saturday.</p>.<p>The victim Olivia Biswas, working with an IT firm, had shared her house with two of her IT friends.</p>.<p>On the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, at around 2.30 am, an unidentified man with a knife gained entry into the house and tried to rob them. Olivia woke up and tried to stop him following which the suspect attacked her with the knife and fled.</p>.<p>Her friends rushed took her to a hospital before alerting the police. The victim, who sustained injuries on her neck and hands, is recuperating.</p>.<p>The Marathalli police rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed investigation. The police are checking CCTV footage for leads.</p>
