<p class="bodytext">Dakshina Kannada Contractors and Suppliers Association has alleged that some mega industries have not paid the dues of the association members amounting to the tune of Rs 30 crore.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Addressing mediapersons in Mangaluru on Wednesday, Association president M J Shetty said that the association was started in the year 2016 to deal with the payment problems faced by petrochemical industries.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The members have to receive about Rs 33 crore till date and only four crore could be recovered during the last two years. The company managements have not been responding to the requests by the members, he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Association vice president Shashidhar Bhat, secretary Ganesh Koran, joint secretary Praveen Kumar Shetty and treasurer Amarnath N were present in the press meet.</p>
