<p class="bodytext">Causing an embarrassment to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, rebel politics in the district JD(S) erupted before him during his visit to Kodagu district on Thursday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">When the chief minister was at Kushalnagar Inspection Bungalow, a group of JD(S) workers, led by Karmad Subbanna, gathered at the spot and started raising slogans against JD(S) District President Sanket Poovaiah seeking his removal from the<br />position.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Poovaiah had entered into an illicit agreement with BJP to defeat JD(S) party, they charged. However, Kumaraswamy did not respond to<br />this.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The situation turned tense when a heated debate, between JD(S) Madikeri Block President Suresh and Organising Secretary C V Nagesh, turned into a physical confrontation. Both hurled abuses against each other.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Some workers openly expressed disappointment before former minister B A Jeevijaya who was there.</p>
