<p>The state reported 48,905 new Covid cases and 39 deaths on Wednesday, taking the active case count in the state to 3,57,909 and toll to 38,705.</p>.<p>Bengaluru alone reported 22,427 new cases and eight deaths. The state capital’s active caseload is currently 2,16,145.</p>.<p>The positivity rate in the state for the day is 22.51 per cent and the case fatality rate is 0.07 per cent. The state discharged as many as 41,699 people on Wednesday.</p>.<p>Mysuru reported 2,797 cases, Tumakuru 2,645, Mandya 2,186, and Hassan 2,016.</p>.<p>Dakshina Kannada and Hassan reported four deaths each. Mysuru reported three deaths. Ten other districts reported one death each.
