<p>A leopard on the prowl was captured by a CCTV camera at the Brindavan Gardens of Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) dam, a popular tourist spot in the taluk on Wednesday.</p>.<p>The CCTV camera footage shows the leopard passing through the Southern gate of the Brindavan Gardens. This has created panic among local vendors, shopkeepers and also employees.</p>.<p>The police informed the local Gram Panchayat personnel who alerted the Forest Department. The department personnel visited and inspected the spot. Range Forest Officer Sunitha said a cage would be placed on the spot if the pug marks of the leopard are found.</p>.<p>The residents of Mahadevapura, Neralakere, Hebbadi and surrounding villages have been complaining about frequent spotting or leopards from the last 15 days. Following complaints, a cage has been placed at Mahadevapura and Neralakere villages, Sunitha said.</p>
