<p class="title">The judicial custody of the four accused in Sulvadi Maramma temple poisoning case has been extended up to January 29.</p>.<p class="bodytext">For the first time, the accused were produced before the judge through video-conference in the Principal District and Sessions Court in Chamarajanagar.</p>.<p class="bodytext">As the judicial custody of the accused seer Immadi Mahadevaswamy, Ambika, Doddaiah and Madesha ended on Wednesday (January 16), they were produced before the Additional District and Sessions Judge G Basavaraj through video-conference, from the Mysuru Prisons.</p>.<p class="bodytext">No advocates appeared for them on Wednesday. The judge questioned the accused whether they have arranged for the advocate to defend them or the court has to make any arrangements in this regard. To this, Immadi Mahadevaswamy said advocate Siddhartha from Madikeri will defend him.</p>.<p class="bodytext">When Basavaraj asked the other three accused whether they have advocates to represent them, they sought 10 days’ time. The judge then extended their judicial custody to January 29.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Earlier, the accused were produced before Additional District and Sessions court in Kollegal. As the cases were filed under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, the case was transferred to the District Sessions Court in Chamarajanagar.</p>
