<p class="title">The Sampya police have arrested two persons for dumping more than 500 dead chicken at Kallagudde Colony (beside road) in Mundooru Gram Panchayat limits in Puttur taluk.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The arrested have been identified as Kushalappa Gowda of Kadya, near Mundooru and Madhuchandra Rai of Sanangala, near Keyyur village.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Following the dumping of dead chicken, Balakrishna, a resident, had filed a complaint to the gram panchayat, which in turn filed a complaint to the police.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">Unbearable stench</p>.<p class="bodytext">The dumping of dead chicken had severely affected the residents as the stench emanating from them was unbearable.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On Sunday, the gram panchayat removed all the dumped chicken and buried them in a pit.</p>
