<p>The untimely rain that lashed parts of Mysuru district continued in parts of Hassan, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts, accompanied by hailstones, on Friday also.</p>.<p>Mysuru city and district remained overcast for the whole day. Bilikere in Hunsur taluk and K R Nagar taluk received rains with hailstones.</p>.<p>Arkalgud in Hassan district received heavy rain, with hailstones on Friday. Doddamagga, Mokali, Santhemaruru, Shanbhoganahalli received hailstones with rain. But, the farmers are worried over the untimely rains. The hailstones would destroy the vegetable and other crops, which will begin to rot in a couple of days. The mango trees were in full flowering this year, but the flowers have dropped due to the hailstones, said farmers.</p>.<p>Heavy rains with hailstones lashed Sakleshpur taluk. The rains, that started at 2.30 pm, continued till 4 pm. This has left the coffee growers worried. The coffee beans that were spread for drying have been totally washed out due to the sudden rains, causing a loss amounting to lakhs of rupees to the coffee growers.</p>.<p>Kadathanalu village in Srirangapatna taluk, Mandya district, also received rains with hailstones.</p>.<p>Chamarajanagar city and parts of the district received good rains on Friday evening for around 20 minutes.</p>
