<p>A village accountant and a librarian at the Hejamady Gram Panchayat were arrested under the Pocso Act and remanded in judicial custody on Tuesday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">According to the police, the accused village accountant Kumaraswamy and the librarian Kishori had harassed a minor. The librarian had apparently compelled the minor to 'cooperate' with the village accountant.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Kumaraswamy had collected the mobile number of the minor who had approached him to get a mistake in property documents rectified. He reportedly misbehaved with her, touching her inappropriately. He also invited her to have lunch with him and sent her obscene messages.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The minor complained to the Padubidri police, who have arrested Kumaraswamy and the librarian for supporting the accountant.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The 27-year-old Kumaraswamy is a native of Mandya district and had been working in Hejamady for a year.</p>
