<p>A video footage of a traffic policeman in an inebriated state creating public nuisance near the KSRTC bus stand in Bejai has gone viral on social media.</p>.<p class="bodytext">DCP (Crime and Traffic) Uma Prashanth said that Ashok Gowda, who was working in Traffic (West) Police Station, has been suspended for his misconduct.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The video footage also shows the public moving the inebriated traffic policeman to a safer area beside the road. Gowda apparently could not even balance himself. Some passersby were seen recording the scene on their mobile phones.</p>.<p class="CrossHead"><strong>Car accident: 1 killed</strong></p>.<p class="bodytext">A man died and four persons were injured in a car accident on NH 66, at Thokkottu Junction late Tuesday night.</p>.<p class="bodytext">According to the police, the deceased is Anoop Antony (35), a native of Ernakulam.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Anoop is said to have been working as a technician at Deralakatte Hospital. He, along with his colleagues, had left in a car to meet his brother, who had come down from Kerala.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The car overturned after the driver applied brake at Thokkottu Junction.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The injured are Dilal, Vidu S, George and Anand, who are recuperating in a hospital at Deralakatte.</p>
