Let him choose the constituency of his choice…I will fight against him…I will work hard with honesty and win the election, and he will know the power of the people,” Navneet Kaur Rana said. </p>.<p>She also made it clear that she would contest against the Shiv Sena in the ensuing polls to the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation, which has been under the control of the Shiv Sena for a quarter of a century. “I will go wherever needed to end this Lanka of corruption,” she said. </p>.<p>“If chanting Hanuman Chalisa is a crime, then why only 14 days, I am ready to go to jail for 14 years,” she said.\</p>.<p><strong>Also read: <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/national/navneet-and-ravi-rana-chanting-hymns-chasing-controversies-1105332.html" target="_blank">Navneet and Ravi Rana: Chanting hymns, chasing controversies</a></strong></p>.<p>According to her, Mumbaikars, Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman will teach the Shiv Sena a lesson in the civic polls.</p>.<p>Targeting Shiv Sena chief spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut, she said, “….that ‘popat’ (parrot) said in Nagpur that he would bury me 20 feet under the ground… just wait and see, with the Lanka of corruption they have erected in the BMC, the people of Mumbai and Maharashtra will dump them 20 feet below the earth.”</p>.<p>Ravi Rana described Raut as “chawanni-chapp” and said that he and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anil Parab would go to jail. </p>.<p><strong>Police to move court </strong></p>.<p>The Mumbai Police, however, is expected to move the Mumbai City Civil & Sessions Court. “When they were granted bail, point no 3 specifically mentions that they should not speak to the media. I have read the condition again and I have seen clips of their interaction with the media. It clearly violates the conditions imposed by the court. And, hence, we are duty-bound to inform the court of the developments,” Special Public Prosecutor Pradeep Gharat said.</p>
