Parliament Highlights | Monsoon session concludes one day ahead of schedule
Hello reader! The Parliament commemorated the 82nd anniversary of the Quit India Movement, with Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha paying homage to the martyrs. Both Houses stood in silence for a brief moment as a mark of respect for those who sacrificed their lives. Meanwhile, amid demand of Opposition Rajya Sabha MPs for expunging remarks of BJP MP Ghanshyam Tiwari about LoP, SP MP Jaya Bachchan made remarks about the tone of the remarks made by the Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. As the Opposition MPs walked out, the Chairman referred to the anniversary of the Quit India movement and said the Opposition is quitting parliament, their duty. Later, both Houses of Parliament were adjourned sine die, one sitting ahead of the scheduled end of the session. Thank you for following along with us throughout the monsoon sessions of parliament.
