West Bengal Assembly Elections Highlights: PM Modi to address rally in West Bengal's Kharagpur

PM Modi is set to address a rally in Kharagpur over the weekend. Meanwhile, after Suvendhu Adhikari's father publicly backed BJP saying he will attend Modi's rallies, BJP's Dilip Ghosh has not supported his wish to join the party. The state chief said he could offer support from outside. Earlier, Bhupender Yadav claimed Mamata Banerjee is running a misinformation campaign against BJP. BJP released the list of 148 candidates for the West Bengal Assembly elections, fielding several Trinamool Congress (TMC) turncoats including national vice-president Mukul Roy, another MP and several celebrities.
