Talks to resolve the impasse over the RG Kar issue fell through yet again today as doctors, who had agreed to join the meeting with CM Mamata Banerjee's appeal, claiming that they were asked to leave the venue "unceremoniously" despite relenting on their live-streaming and video recording demand. The protesting junior doctors have reached the residence of CM Mamata Banerjee for talks over R G Kar impasse after she made a suprise visit to the protest site at Swasthya Bhawan earlier today. Meanwhile, the CBI arrested former R G Kar principal Sandip Ghosh and a policeman of the local police station for erasing evidence. That's all for today, we will be back tomorrow with more updates. A doctor said on the arrests made, "We have been demanding the arrest of the former principal of the college Sandip Ghosh and Abhijit Mondal, officer-in-charge of Tala police station for their involvement in tampering with the evidence. We are very happy as the CBI has arrested them. CBI should arrest others also who have tampered with the evidence.
