If the discrepancy persists, the count established by the VVPAT paper slips prevails over the vote count registered on the EVMs.</p>.<p>The Himachal Pradesh polls will be held on Nov. 12. The dates for the Gujarat polls haven't been announced yet but they are likely to be held in December 2022.</p>
