Fr Abraham V M, who has been the pro-vice-chancellor of Christ (Deemed to be University) for the past 10 years, will succeed Fr Thomas C Mathew as vice-chancellor on March 1.
Fr Abraham has a BA degree in Philosophy and Theology from Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, Bengaluru, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from the University of Calicut and a master’s in computer science from Iona College, New York. He obtained a PhD in mathematics from Bangalore University in the area of graph theory.
