<p>How deep is love? Does life matter more than love? After “Moggina Manasu”, Shashank chooses to dig deep into the mine of love and comes up with quite a few nuggets in <br />““Krishna”n Love Story”. Foremost is the envious job of polishing and extracting the best out of the talented actors who are already making waves, or in some cases, getting stereotyped. <br /><br />Persevering with a posh Radhika Pandit as Geetha, the director uses her as the pivot for his Krishna (Ajay Rao) and Narendra (Pradeep). Two youths with diverse background but same ambition: to covet Geetha’s affection. Backing him is a well thought out screenplay. <br /><br />M L Prasanna’s dialogues are noteworthy, including the several bleeps. Shekhar Chandra, V Sridhar Sambhram, K M Prakash and Mohan B Kere are all to be appreciated for providing a dream feast for the senses. But Shashank is guilty of showing a glimpse of interesting possibilities with a strong subject, only to veer away at the last minute to something commercially viable.<br /><br />Geetha’s character is the strongest; the director renders it weak in the climax. Ajay Rao is a perfect foil to Radhika. The climax is a clever mixing of the topography of the Hogenakal and the Shivanasamudram. ““Krishna”n Love Story” is the perfect tale for the current monsoon.<br /></p>
