After fourth round of counting in Jamakhandi assembly constituency, Anand Nyamagouda of Congress leads securing 22,478 votes, while Shrikant Kulkarni of the BJP secured 15,329.
At the end of the sixth round of vote count, JD(S) candidate Anitha Kumaraswamy leads with 34,216 votes while BJP's L Chandrashekhar has 6,081 votes - a margin of 28,135 votes.
The regional party candidate, L R Shivaramegowda has secured 2,09,675 votes, while the BJP candidate, Siddaramaiah, has fetched 77,383 votes.

Congress' Jamkhandi candidate Anand Nyamagouda's first reaction: "After ten rounds, I've an approximate lead of 24,000 votes. If this trend continues, I hope to win with a margin of about 35,00 votes."
