Alva’s PU College student Vaishnavi Nayak has secured the state-level second rank in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) examination.
Shashank D from the same college has secured the fifth rank.
Speaking on the occasion, topper Vaishnavi Nayak said that she is overwhelmed by the results as she got a higher rank than expected.
The learning atmosphere at Alva’s College complimented her studies. She aspires to pursue engineering in Architecture.
Vaishnavi is the daughter of Vivekananda Nayak and Vinutha Nayak. Vivekananda Nayak is a fruit vendor at Ontikatte in Moodbidri. Vaishnavi has secured 97 % marks in second PU exam.
Shashank D, the fifth rank holder in NATA at the state level, is the native of Hassan district.
Students from Alva’s PU College who have secured state level ranks within 100 in NATA are: Nidhi (11th rank), Venugopal K R (29), Akhil S R (46), Neha Kini (50), Varshini K S(54), Tejaswini K S ( 57), Ayina Saman (66), Chandana R (68), Akshay Kumar U (76), Shubha T Reddy (80), Chandana P (83), Varidhi B S (87), Navneet P and Soundarya H K (88) (91).
A total of 18 students have secured ranks within 200, 54 students within 500, 92 students within 1000, 134 students within 2000 and 12 students above 2000.
A total of 348 students from Alva’s had attempted NATA, out of whom 326 have been found themselves successful, Alva’s Education Foundation Chairman Mohan Alva said.
