District In-charge Minister R V Deshpande visits KIMSHospital in Hubballi, where 13 injured are admitted.
He said, the government bears the cost of treatment of victims, and asked authorities to shift seriously injured to Bengaluru, if needed.
"The priority now is to save lives. Transparent probe would trace the guilty and they would be punished, so that such incidents do not repeat, " he added.
Earlier, he also visited district hospital in Dharwad and enquired about the health of those admitted there.
Regional Commissioner Tushar Girinath who is also HDMP administrator has ordered for a magisterial inquiry into the building collapse incident that took place on Tuesday in Dharwad.

The rescue operation at the building collapse site continued overnight. The NDRF team from Bengaluru reached Dharwad at around 1.30 pm and immediately plunged into rescue operation. However going by the magnitude of the damage and debris here, officials claim the rescue operation will be completed by evening. In the meantime, the administration has sought more help from Centre and 76 NDRF team from Gaziabad will join SDRF in one hour from now. They are arriving by a special flight to Belagavi. The rescue team has so far has rescued 58 persons and admitted to civil hospital. The death toll remains at 2.
Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan who is monitoring the rescue operation at the commercial building collapse site said on Tuesday that two persons were brought out dead, while 28 persons have been rescued.

Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan who is supervising the rescue operations said about seven people who were trapped under the debris are communicating with the rescue team.
27 people who have been rescued have been shifted to Civil hospital, SDM hospital and KIMS. Salim Makandar of Anand Nagar has been identified as one of the deceased. Search and rescue operation underway.
“Actually, there are 6-7 partners and one of them is my relative. I am also rushing to the spot and have told police and fire and emergency personnel to expedite rescue operations,” he told TOI.
Authorities say it may take 4 more hours for all the debris to be cleared. An adjacent building in the vicinity has also developed cracks and is being vacated.
Vehicular movement in nearby adjoining areas has been thrown out of gear as the entire area near the building crash site has been cordoned off. Ambulances are having atough time to reach nearbyhospitals.
So far 20 persons trapped have been rescued and shifted to the district hospital and Kim's in Hubballi. Large crowds gathering near the building collapse site is hindering rescue operations.Locals have also joined intohelp the rescue team.s 10 earth movers are in operation to remove debris.
Vinay Kulkarni has saidthat the plot belongs to his relatives and he's unsure of what happened and added that he'll be visiting the spot, according to TVNews9.
"Shocked to learn about the collapse of an under-construction building in Dharwad. I have instructed the Chief Secretary to supervise rescue operations. I have also directed the chief secretary to send additional resources and expert rescuers by a special flight to Dharwad," said the Karnataka Chief Minister.
The building had a saloon, furniture shop, a medical shop and a hotel. As it was noon many people had come to the hotel for lunch. All are trapped.
A preoccupied under construction four storied commercial complex located beside thenew bus stand in Dharwad collapsed on Tuesday afternoon. Nearly 100 people majority of whom are labourers are trapped under the debris. 30 ambulances are pressed into service and over 200 police and home guards are in the rescue operation.
