NTA releases result for entrance exam to medical colleges; score card available at ntaneet.nic.in

National Testing Agency (NTA) eleased the result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Undergraduate courses on Wednesday. NEET UG 2019 was conducted on May 5 but the NEET exam had to be conducted again on May 20 for some students in Karnataka who missed their exam due to train delay and for Cyclone Fani-hit areas in Odisha

Candidates awaiting the results can follow these steps to know their scores and ranks.

  • Visit ntaneet.nic.inormcc.nic.in
  • Search for a tab that says "Download NEET Result 2019"
  • Click on the link and enter the required details and click the ''Submit' button
  • The NTA NEET (UG) result will then be displayed on your screen. Download and take a print out for future reference.

NEET exam is a gateway for all the students who aspire to be doctors. After the results are declared, counselling for Central Institutes and deemed universities will begin soon.

Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan tops NEET 2019

Nalin Khandelwalfrom Rajasthanisthe All India Topper in NEET exam. He scored 701 out of the total 720 marks. Bhavik Bansal from Delhi secured the second rank and the third all-India topper was Akshat Kaushikfrom Uttar Pradesh.

Madhuri Reddy G (AIR 7) tops among girls

All India Rank 7, Madhuri Reddy Gfrom Telanganais first amongwomen candidates. She scored 695 out of 720 marks.

  Phaneendra DK from Karnataka got 36th rank at the national level and another student Pragya Mitra from the state securing 99 rank.

When looking at the qualified percentage, the highest number of candidates qualified are from Rajasthan with 74.30% followed by Delhi with 73.77% and Andra Pradesh with 72.55%.
