Rescue teams have reached the site to begin operations in the affected Dazhai village, the state-run Xinhua news agency said.The landslide occurred at 2:30 pm in Dazhai of Guanling county.
Casualties are not immediately known, the report quoted a statement from the municipal government of Anshun city, which administers Guanling.
About 380 people were killed during the past few weeks in China due to heavy floods and landslides following torrential rains in several parts of the country.The floods also rendered millions homeless in 10 southern provinces. Chinese officials repaired a dike which breached inundating Fuzhou city in Jiangxi province.
