Indian Staffing Federation, which was founded by leading staffing companies, will host the 49th World Employment Conference during May 25-27 in New Delhi.
Explaining about the first-of-its-kind conference in India, Suchita Dutta, Executive Director, Indian Staffing Federation, said, “This conference will bring the world’s employment focus to our country, and will create a one-of-its-kind window of opportunity to showcase India in front of the global employment industry.”
Representatives from over 50 countries are participating in the conference, and they would be from the corporates across industries comprising of CEOs, CHROs, VPs, heads of departments, management decision-makers, government officials, education institutions and their representatives, among others.
“The countries representing will be Argentina, Austria, Chile, Denmark, Germany, Poland and Belgium, among others,” Dutta said, adding that there would be discussions on issues pertaining to employment at the international level and to share analysis, perspectives and possible strategies drawing from the experiences of other countries.
“Through this, ISF intends to focus on the three crucial issues of employment growth in India — employment mobilisation/issues of BRICS, APAC and the world in context of the role of India; multiplying employment opportunities; and providing a platform to showcase India as a talent powerhouse to the world,” Dutta said.
When asked about the challenges faced by staffing companies, the executive director said, “India witnessed a 20% growth in the Indian staffing market over the last three years touching a market size of over $5 billion. Despite this potential, the biggest challenge for staffing companies remains finding the right talent.”
