Microsoft on Wednesday announced that it has selected 14 B2B startups to help increase their enterprise readiness. Of over 1,300 applications, 14 late-stage startups have been selected to undergo a three-month intensive programme at the Microsoft Accelerator in Bengaluru.

“This is our 10th batch ‘Summer’17 Cohort’, and from this year, we will be focusing on B2B startups, and help them boost their enterprise readiness and go-to-market strategies,” said Microsoft Accelerator India CEO in Residence Bala Girisaballa.

These startups will be adopting Microsoft’s Azure cloud to make use of advanced cloud services in areas such as — Big Data, IoT, Advanced Analytics and Cognitive Services to scale their products,” said Girisaballa. These startups have received an average funding of $2.5 million.
