To fulfil these vacancies and to attract young talents, SBI’s Karnataka circle office has started many awareness campaigns in the state and in Bangalore.
SBI has created mobile hoardings, mounted on open trucks, advertising the recruitment drive. These vehicles are strategically parked in front of educational institutes so that college students get to know about the jobs being offered. The Bank has also asked senior officials in all its branches to guide applicants. Prospective job seekers can walk into SBI branches to get the details. They can also logon to the Bank’s websites.
According to a senior official in the SBI local head office in Bangalore, the Karnataka circle has been allocated 800 posts. But since the recruitment will happen on all-India basis, eligible candidates have opportunity to get posted in other circles too. “State Bank’s job offers good career prospects to employees for fast growth” said the official in Bangalore.
