Goyal says that a joint parliamentary committe can't be set up just based on some allegations levelled by a company. "If that were the case, one would have to set up a JPC to investigate how Kharge got the money to buy a Louis Vuitton scarf that he's wearing today," he said.
To this, Kharge said that the demand for a JPC is from the entire Opposition and they will keep pushing for it till the government agrees.

Replying to the President's Address, Kharge said that the MPs in the House are listing what the government did over the last few years. They focus on pointing out what the previous government did not do. "If your government did so much work, why are you jealous of the work down by previous governments?" he asked.
