UK scholarships programme
The British Council is offering around 400 scholarships worth 1.5 million pounds. As a part of this, the University Of Sheffield offers scholarships at undergraduate, engineering and postgraduate levels.
Eligibility: Indian national or permanently domiciled holding an offer of a study place for entry in September 2016. The deadline for applications for the India Merit Scholarships is June 24, 2016. Call for leadership fellowship
Each year, Teach for India selects outstanding graduates and young professionals from across India through a rigorous selection process. As of 2015, the programme has recruited fellows from more than 484 colleges and 828 corporations. There are millions of children aged 6-14 in India who are out of school for various reasons. This, despite the Right to Education guarantee in place. There are many systemic issues that need to be addressed.
Teach for India believes that India’s brightest youth can address these issues by developing their leadership skills. Teach for India currently works in seven cities across India — New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Certificate courses in Panchakarma
AyurVAID Hospitals here today announced its tie up with the University School of Continuing Education in Ayurveda (USCE), Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar (GAU), to make two certificate courses in Panchakarma accessible to Ayurveda professionals at Bengaluru. simultaneously, an MoU signed with the University also envisages the roll out of unique and innovative Ayurveda-based personal health empowerment programmes, successfully conducted by USCE in Gujarat, to the local community here and elsewhere in South India, AyurVAID Hospitals. GAU is the first statutory university of its kind exclusively devoted to ayurvedic studies and research.
GAU has tied up with various institutions of excellence in more than 18 countries apart from some selected few within India. AyurVAID Hospitals is India’s first National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health care Providers (NABH) accredited Ayurveda Hospital.
PG Diploma in Data analytics
UpGrad, an online higher education platform for working professionals and International Institute of Information Technology, Bengaluru (IIIT-B) have collaborated to launch a first-of-its-kind Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics.
The programme, slated to go live in May 2016, has been created to bridge the gap between industry needs and the expected shortage of over 1.5 million professionals with expertise to make data driven decisions.
