Assembly and Lok Sabha elections were held simultaneously in Arunachal Pradesh on April 19.
"Over 2000 officials will be deployed for counting of votes on both the days - (June 2 Assembly election and June 4 Lok Sabha)," an official said.
Counting of votes for 50 assembly seats out of a total of 60, will be held in 24 centres in the state on June 2 while that for Lok Sabha seats would be conducted in 25 centres on June 4, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Liken Koyu said.

The BJP had won both the Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 elections while in the assembly the party had bagged 41 seats. The JD (U) had won seven seats, NPP in five, Congress in four while the PPA had secured one seat and Independent candidates got two.
Arunachal Pradesh was a Congress stronghold till 2016 when CM Pema Khandu, who got elected from Congress in 2014, defected to BJP along with MLAs giving the saffron party its first government in the frontier state. Khandu-led BJP government got re-elected in 2019 with 41 seats while several legislators belonging to JD-U and NPP also switched over to BJP later.
The ruling BJP in Arunachal Pradesh is leading in 33 assembly seats while the National People's Party is ahead in six constituencies, according to the Election Commission of India.

Independent candidate Wanglam Sawin won the Khonsa East assembly constituency defeating his nearest rival Kamrang Tesia of the BJP by a margin of 2,216 votes, according to the Election Commission of India.
Sawin had won the seat in the 2019 Assembly elections on a BJP ticket. He was denied a saffron party ticket this time and contested the elections as an independent.

Ngandam won from Ponchou-Wakka seat defeating independent candidate Holai Wangsa by a margin of 4,662 votes.
Nalo won from Nacho constituency defeating his opponent Tanga Byaling of Congress by a margin of 1,373 votes.
Newcomer Topin Ete won Aalo West seat on a BJP ticket defeating his rival Nyamo Ete of NPP by a margin of 1,951 votes.
BJP nominee Taniya Soki won the Daporijo seat defeating his nearest rival Dikto Yekar of NPP by 228 votes. Soki retained the seat.
Pani Taram of BJP won from Koloriang seat defeating his lone rival Kahfa Bengia of PPA by a margin of 10,550 votes. Bengia is the president of PPA.
Phurpa Tsering of BJP won from Dirang constituency defeating his lone rival Yeshi Tsewang of NPP by 1,202 votes.
Tai Nikio of BJP won from Nyapin seat defeating his only opponent Tadar Mangku of PPA by 1,182 votes.
Sitting BJP MLA Ojing Tasing retained the Pangin seat defeating his nearest rival Tapang Taloh of NCP by 2,594 votes.
PPA candidate Nabam Vivek won the Doimukh constituency defeating his nearest rival sitting BJP MLA Tana Hali Tara by a margin of 2,530 votes.
Namgey Tsering of NPP won the strategic Tawang seat defeating his lone rival Tsering Dorjee of BJP by a margin of 996 votes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked the people of Arunachal Pradesh for reposing their faith in the BJP yet again and said the party will keep working with even greater vigour for the state's growth.

After BJP sweeps Arunachal Assembly elections, state's CM Pema Khandu said, "This is a historic day for Arunachal Pradesh, especially for the BJP. The party set a new record in these Assembly elections. There is pro-incumbency in BJP. In 2019, we won 41 seats and in 2024 we won 46 seats."
He also said, "On June 4, Lok Sabha elections counting will be held. After that, all winning candidates will reach here in Itanagar. Senior leaders from Delhi can also come. After the formalities of the party, we will stake our claim to form the new government."
"We are certain that we will win both the Lok Sabha seats of the state," he said.

The Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party won three seats in the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly polls, results of which were declared on Sunday in a statement, the party hailed the leadership of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Pawar and Praful Patel, with the latter taking to social media platform X to assert that the victory was a 'significant step on our journey to regain national party status'.

All four women candidates fielded by the BJP in the Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections have registered victories. In all, eight women candidates were in the fray in the assembly polls. Of them, four were fielded by the BJP, three by the Congress and one was an Independent nominee.
