A majority of the exit polls have stated that the Bhartiya Janata Party will win the maximum seats in Bihar.
Republic TV-Jan Ki Baat predicts that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will 28-31 seats, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) will win 11-8 seats, and the other parties and independent candidates will be left with 1 seat.
Republic TV-CVoter stated that the NDA will sweep the state with 33 seats, the UPA will win 7 seats and the other parties and independent candidates will not win any seats. News 18-IPSOS also stated that the NDA will acquire 34-36 seats in the state, UPA will win 4-6 seats, and the other parties will not win any seats.
India Today-Axis my India predicted that the BJP will yet again have a stronghold in the state with 38-40 seats, and the Congress will win a maximum of 2 seats.
BJP has always had a strong hold on its Hindi heartland states, but if it will continue to have the same hold or will loosen its grip over the state, will be known on 23rd May.
