Hyderabad: BRS working president K T Rama Rao said that despite Congress’ attempt to mislead people with 'seven guarantees' in Haryana, following its false promises in Karnataka with 'five guarantees' and Telangana with 'six guarantees', the people of Haryana have delivered a resounding slap in the form of this election result.

Reacting on Haryana election result, KTR stated that the entire country is witnessing the fraud committed by Congress governments in Karnataka, Telangana, and Himachal Pradesh in the implementation of their promises, and the election results are proof of that. KTR reiterated that people will eventually teach Congress a lesson for deceiving them after gaining power with false promises.

He mocked Congress for adding new 'guarantees' in every state’s election, trying to perform magic, only to fall flat. He criticised that the Congress 'guarantee card' has become worthless after the elections. The failure of Congress' seven guarantees to expand their deceit has been glaringly exposed.

KTR stated that the public has lashed out at Congress, which tried to ride on baseless promises to power, leaving no doubt that there is no "warranty" left for their "guarantees" after the Haryana verdict.

KTR emphasised that the people of Telangana and Karnataka have now fully realised the hollowness of Congress’s guarantees, as well as the betrayal of the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh. He added that the failures of governance in these states have led to Congress's defeat. KTR highlighted that in today’s world, with the increasing reach of social media, no government can hide the truth from people, regardless of the state they govern.

He further pointed out that in states where Congress faces direct competition, it is BJP that wins, and one of the major reasons for Congress’ defeats is Rahul Gandhi's weak leadership.

KTR reiterated that only regional parties have the strength to challenge and counter the BJP, as evidenced by elections in various states. He also expressed that the results in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Delhi are unlikely to bring any hope for either national party.

KTR predicted that in the 2029 general elections, it is clear that neither BJP nor Congress will secure a majority, and that strong regional parties will play a decisive role in forming the next central government. He stated that intellectuals and citizens who wish to protect federalism, integrity, and secularism in India must support regional parties.

KTR advised Rahul Gandhi to learn from Congress’ defeat in Haryana. He remarked that when there is no alignment between words and actions, such humiliating results are inevitable. He added that the bulldozer politics, party defections in Telangana and constitutional drama enacted by Rahul Gandhi in the name of protection have been rightly rejected by the people of Haryana. He warned that the country is observing how Congress behaves in its ruled states, with similar patterns of bulldozer politics and betrayal.

KTR sarcastically compared Rahul Gandhi’s approach to that of a cat closing its eyes while drinking milk, assuming that no one notices. He blamed Rahul Gandhi's weak leadership as a boon for BJP in every election. KTR strongly warned that if Congress does not implement the guarantees they promised in Telangana and Karnataka, they will face even bigger setbacks in the future. He declared that the public no longer trusts Congress's false guarantees, comparing them to candles in the wind.
