Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely joined BJP at the party headquarters in Delhi today. Earlier at a press conference, Arvinder Singh Lovely had mentioned that he is 'not joining any political party', after resigning as Delhi Congress chief.

Lovely said his resignation reflected the pain of Congress workers saddened by the fact that the "ideals they had been fighting for during the last seven to eight years" were being compromised.

Former Congress MLAs Raj Kumar Chauhan, Naseeb Singh, Neeraj Basoya, and former Youth Congress President Amit Mallik also joined BJP today.
