"The PM was asked about rich getting richer and poor getting poorer, he responded by saying that should he make everyone poor. He should give the same opportunity to farmers, labourers, unemployed youths as he gives to 'Arabpatis'. An affluent minor kills a person by his Porsche car. He was asked to write essay by a court. The court doesn't say this to poor drivers. Modi ji waived money amounting 24 years of money of MNREGA of 22 'Arabpatis'. He gives airport to Adani, the inquiries end. If a youth wants to start his business, the banks do not give them loan. I want to know what has he done for farmers. He calls farmers terrorists. I wasn't allowed to speak in the Parliament." (PTI)
Speaking to presspersons in Gurdaspur, SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal attacked the Congress, BJP and AAP.
"Today Presidents of all national parties are in Punjab....I want to ask them, you have come to ask for votes in Punjab...Your parties took away the water of Punjab, Bandi Sikhs are not being released...Akali Dal is the party of Punjabis...If Akali Dal is strong, then we all are strong... Stay away from all the parties from Delhi...," he said while speaking to news agency ANI.

Reacting to PM Modi's 'mujra' remarks against his party a poll rally in Utter Pradesh, Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav said, "When the self-confidence is shivering, the speech also shivers. There is a decrease in his confidence. And as a result, he is using such language. The people of BJP know that the public is going to remove them this time. In the 7th phase, people's anger would be at its peak... All their promises are false... "
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday attacked the BJP, saying the country's freedom, Constitution and democracy are in danger and called upon Punjabis to once again be at the forefront to save the nation.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader said the people of Punjab played a big role in the country's freedom movement.
"So many sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom. Today, our country's freedom, Constitution and democracy is in danger," Kejriwal said during a townhall programme with the traders and industrialists in Ferozepur.
Kejriwal, who is on interim bail until June 1 in the Delhi excise policy case, sought support of the people of Punjab and said that they need to come forward and be at forefront in the fight to save the Constitution, democracy and freedom in this country.
