Counting of votes is under way for 288 Assembly constituencies in Maharashtra and 81 Assembly seats in Jharkhand. Vote counting began on 8 am on November 23, and the fates of hundreds of candidates hang in the balance.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha candidate Babu Lal Marandi is contesting the Jharkhand Assembly elections from the Dhanwar seat.
At the time of publication, Babu Lal Marandi won by 35438 votes.
