Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has called K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Federal Front as Narendra Modi’s brainchild and a flop show. He charged KCR of working under Modi’s guidance to split the anti-BJP vote.
Naidu’s observations came a day after KCR’s son K Taraka Ramarao met opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy and invited him to join the non-BJP, non-Congress alternative front.
Naidu interacting with his cabinet colleagues in Amaravati on Thursday said that the Federal Front had no takers hence KCR is embracing YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy. “In fact, Modi is jealous of a progressive state like AP. He along with Andhra haters such as KCR and Jagan have joined hands. The KTR- Jagan meet has at least taken away the veil “Naidu said.
“Accused number one in several cases is hugging KCR, who insulted people of Andhra Pradesh", Naidu said.
Naidu said that KCR has created hurdles for Andhra Pradesh in getting Special Category Status (SCS) by insisting that similar status must be given to Telangana also. “As a result, the Centre went back on its promise to AP", he said.
Naidu also charged KCR with trying to instigate caste feelings among people of Andhra Pradesh for political gains. TRS BC leader T Srinivas Yadav who was touring parts of Andhra Pradesh for the last few days has called upon the Yadava community not to vote for TDP.
"KCR government removed 26 castes native to AP but living in Telangana from the backward classes list. He came running here shedding crocodile tears", Naidu thundered.
N Chandrababu Naidu will be going to Kolkata on Saturday to attend the Trinamul Congress rally. Naidu is also trying to garner support for the “Maha Ghatbandhan” at the national level. He already said that he is not averse of joining hands with the UPA as AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi assured of granting SCS to AP after coming to power.
