Counting of votes is under way for 288 Assembly constituencies in Maharashtra and 81 Assembly seats in Jharkhand. Vote counting began on 8 am on November 23, and the fates of hundreds of candidates hang in the balance.

Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Atul Save is contesting the Maharashtra Assembly elections from the Aurangabad East seat.
