Union Minister Narayan Rane's sons Nilesh Rane and Nitesh Rane have both registered wins in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024.

BJP candidate Nitesh Rane won from Kankavli assembly seat, which he has represented for the past decade. He polled a total of 1,08,369 votes, defeating his nearest rival Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Sandesh Bhaskar Parkar, by 58,007 votes. Back in 2019, retained the seat with 56.16% of the vote, defeating Shiv Sena's Satish Sawant by over 28,000 votes.

In the Kudal assembly seat, Nilesh Rane, representing the Shinde Sena defeated rival Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Naik Vaibhav Vijay. Polling a total of 81,659 votes, he won by a margin of 8,176 votes.

Overall, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance looked set for a runaway victory in Maharashtra, scoring an emphatic win over a tottering MVA, according to trends on the Election Commission website.
