Los Angeles: Music legend Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band have postponed two more shows as part of their European Stadium Tour under doctor's direction due to the singer's vocal issues.
The music group shared the announcement on its social media platforms on Sunday, a day after they rescheduled their concert in Marseilles, France.
According to the Instagram post, E Street Band which has been the primary backing group for Springsteen since 1972 will resume the tour on June 12 in Madrid, Spain.
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band to postpone Prague and Milan shows under doctor's direction, European Stadium Tour resumes June 12 in Madrid. Following yesterday's postponement in Marseille due to vocal issues, further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days.
"With this in mind, additional postponements are required for Airport Letnany in Prague (originally scheduled for May 28) and San Siro Stadium in Milan (originally scheduled for June 1 and 3). New dates for these shows will be announced shortly. Those wishing a refund will be able to obtain it at their original point of purchase," the post read.
Springsteen, 74, is "recuperating comfortably", it added.
"He and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan." While Springsteen earlier this year honoured multiple dates on the group's North American tour which he postponed due to a peptic ulcer, his vocal problems have persisted.
The rock legend is known for hit songs such as Born in the USA, The Promised Land, Fire and Hungry Heart.
