Doshi had approached the Sessions court on Friday challenging the conviction order against him.
"We had applied for the bail as Doshi was not present before the magistrate's court, when a conviction order was passed against him," Doshi's lawyer Rishi Bhuta said.
He also added that other than granting bail to Doshi, the court has also suspended his conviction.
Doshi was sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment for subjecting his wife to cruelty to fulfill his dowry demands, by a Magistrate court on July 5
