Fashionistas were treated with a double delight when music and technology was combined with fashion by designers Namrata Joshipura and by G Pia Fleming with Deepika's starry touch.

The actress sashayed down the ramp for both the designers but it was the enchanting musical with techno effects and lighting while the show which kept the audience hooked in the Fiama Di Willis sponsored event.

"I think I am a mix of both black and white because it portrays my different moods. I think both their collections were very different from each other. If Pia's mood was musical with my dress having shades of cream, Namrata's was stronger as it was dark," said Deepika.
Fleming's garments were detailed using rich hues of emerald, pea green, blue and tanzanite. The fabrics like washed velvets, chamois, organza, tulle, textured satin, lace were used with trims of fur and leather.

Fitted silhouettes, flirty cocktail dresses and understated goddess gowns studded the ramp which was teamed up with jackets, boleros and capes.

The show began with a dramatic dance performance as the collection was inspired by the Italian opera and retro Hollywood glamour.

Fleming said she was inspired by legendary singer Frank Sinatra and Oscar nominated film 'Nine' starring Penelope Cruz, Daniel Day Lewis, Nicole Kidman and Sophia Loren.
"Nine enamoured me. I am a big fan of Frank Sinatra and it was something I really wanted to do," Fleming told PTI after the show.

"In totality my show was inspired by Italian opera and Hollywood. I wanted to bring New York to India," Fleming added.

Meanwhile, Joshipura's powerful jackets, sexy dresses, skinny pants, were the core items for her autumn-winter collection presented with a laser light show on the ramp.
"The collection was for the contemporary and strong women. The music and energy created the whole the ambience and the laser beams were used to create aesthetic and modern appeal," said Joshipura.
