Godzilla vs. Kong, the latest release in Warner Bros. and Legendary's 'MonsterVerse' will release in India on March 24, two days ahead of its original release date.

Confirming the release, Denzil Dias, VP and MD of Warner Bros. India said: "After looking at the tremendous response the trailer has received and sensing the huge anticipation for the film, we are delighted to announce that we are now releasing Godzilla vs. Kong two days earlier than scheduled, so that fans in India get to experience this film in cinemas the soonest possible!"

The film is the fourth entry in Legendary's 'MonsterVerse', which began in 2014 with Gareth Edwards-directed Godzilla and features Kong from 2017's Jordan Vogt-Roberts-directed Kong: Skull Island.

Warner Bros. and Legendary's synposis for the film says: "Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans — instigated by unseen forces — is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth."

Godzilla vs. Kong is directed by Adam Wingard (You're Next, The Guest), and stars Millie Bobbie Brown and Kyle Chandler, who return from 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film also features Alexander Skarsgård, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González and Demián Bichir in key roles.

Godzilla vs. Kong will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across cinemas in India.
