Bose coached the players in an hour-long training session held at the Bakshi stadium. The session is part of a 10-day coaching camp, which began yesterday, aimed at improving the rugby skills of the youth of the valley.

"The main aim of organizing such sessions is to encourage the players and to boost the morale of the players. There are many things that these lads have to learn," Bose said.

The training camp is being held by the Jammu and Kashmir Rugby Association in league with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.

Fifty girls from all over the state are participating in the coaching camp.

"The response shown by the players so far is good, we need to encourage these girls who are coming in large numbers. I hope many Kashmiri players will book their berths in the national rugby team," said the actor, known for films like 'Mr and Mrs Iyer', 'Jhankaar Beats' and 'Pyar ke Side Effects'.
